About Us

Since 1997, Newham College’s Centre for Innovation and Partnerships (CIPs) has been helping people and businesses succeed. Thanks to support from a wide range of funders, including the European Regional Development FundEuropean Social Fund and European Integration Fund, CIPs has supported thousands of businesses and helped tens of thousands of people find – and stay in – employment.

CIPs manage a number of College facilities including the Business Lab in Stratford, the College owned Fashion and Textile Museum (FTM) in London Bridge and the Work Lab at the East Ham campus.

The FTM runs a comprehensive programme of exhibitions, workshops and training courses for young people and businesses. The Museum’s current exhibition; Liberty in Fashion, celebrates the 140th anniversary of the company and explores its impact on British fashion. Newham College students are admitted free to the FTM and it’s exhibitions.

Newham College’s employability service; the Work Lab, offers a range of services delivered by professional employment advisers, trainers and tutors to support people into work. Get in touch here.
